- SUPERIOR SURROUND SOUND: The white waterproof recessed marine speaker system is used for audio monitor and surround sound applications. It features a 1” polymer dome tweeter and a vented design for high power and deep bass response
- UNIVERSAL MOUNTING: The pair of speakers are stored in a rugged, heavy-duty grill cabinet enclosure. Designed to be mounted horizontally or vertically on a wall, corner or ceiling. Includes (2) adjustable angle spring loaded U mounting plate bracket

They are passive speakers. Yes you may add more speakers. But you also have to keep in mind that if the amplifier you are using will accommodate the number of speakers you want to use.
